The El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center
was a THGC Grant recipient in 2014 for their program, "Music in the Holocaust: Workshop and Performance."

The Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission is happy to announce that the recipients for the 2016 THGC Grant have been chosen!  More applications were submitted for the 2016 grant than in any previous year, and some difficult decisions had to be made.  This year, funds will be awarded to the El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center and Holocaust Museum Houston, for the following projects:

"2016 ‘Teaching the Holocaust’ Educators’ Conference” (El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center)
• “Moving Beyond: Education in Motion Project” (Holocaust Museum Houston)
• “Spanish Translation of ‘All Behaviors Count (ABC)’ Program and Educational Materials” (Holocaust Museum Houston)

Congratulations to our recipients—we are very excited to see where 2016 takes these projects!  Stay tuned for future posts that will look at each one in more detail.
