Visit Eastfield College to view The Texas Liberator: Witness to the Holocaust Exhibit on display until December 13th!

The traveling exhibit, The Texas Liberator: Witness to the Holocaust shares the first-hand accounts of Texan soldiers who witnessed Nazi concentration camps during World War II. After an introduction that sets the stage for World War II, these first-hand accounts serve as witness to the persecution and murder of 6 million Jews in Europe.

The Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission (THGC) began the Texas Liberator Project to preserve history and educate future generations about the horrors of the Holocaust and genocides. The project includes an interactive website, traveling exhibit, a printed book, and an Honor Roll of more than 350 Texas liberators identified and available at texasliberators.org. The Texas Liberator: Witness to the Holocaust is sponsored by the Texas Holocaust and Genocide Commission.  Original exhibit design produced by the Museum of Texas Tech University.
