History Highlights: The Development of Modern Human Rights

Join Dr. Charlotte Decoster, Director of Education at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, for a discussion on the development of modern human rights in the immediate aftermath of the Holocaust and World War II. This talk will highlight key figures, such as Eleanor Roosevelt, who answered the call for universal human rights in the late 1940s, as well as groundbreaking documents like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Then, learn more about the impact of this change in human rights history from the 1950s to today.
