Faiths in Conversation is an online monthly 6-part series and will host a new topic each month from September 2021 to February 2022. Session 1 will begin with the topic "Judaism & Justice". Join the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, Dr. Michael J. Broyde, and Dr. Jeffery D. Long for this conversation.

Dr. Michael J. Broyde is a professor of law and Berman Projects Director at the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University School of Law. His primary areas of interest are law and religion and Jewish law. Broyde is ordained as a rabbi by Yeshiva University and was a member of the Beth Din of America, the largest Jewish law court in America. He was the founding Rabbi of the Young Israel synagogue in Atlanta and served on boards of many organizations in Atlanta, including many years as the chair of the medical ethics committee of Weinstein Hospice.

Dr. Jeffery D. Long
, Professor of Religion and Asian Studies, specializes in the religions and philosophies of India. He is the author of several books and numerous articles, as well the editor of the series Explorations in Indic Traditions for Lexington Books. In 2018, he received the Hindu American Foundation’s Dharma Seva Award for his ongoing efforts to promote more accurate and culturally sensitive portrayals of Indic traditions in the American educational system and popular media. He has spoken in numerous venues, both national and international, including Princeton University, Yale University, the University of Chicago, and Jawaharlal Nehru University (in India), and has given three talks at the United Nations.
